Sourdough CHI by Carie is a modern micro-bakery rooted in the belief that bread can carry energy, intention, and connection. Every loaf begins simply — with flour, sea salt, and spring water — and rises into something much more: a reminder to be present. Founded by Carie in Louisville, Kentucky, Sourdough CHI is her way of bringing soul back to the table, one loaf at a time. Each bake is infused with care and a touch of “chi” — the life force that inspires her baking.

The Doughchi Loaf
Meet the loaf that started it all. Our Doughchi Loaf is simple, wholesome, and made with just three real ingredients: flour, water, and salt. It’s slow-fermented for a naturally tangy flavor and a soft, chewy bite the whole family will love.
Baked fresh with love (and a 150-year-old sourdough starter!), this loaf is easier to digest and gentle on little tummies. Perfect for sandwiches, morning toast, or tearing and sharing around the dinner table.

Our Olive Jack loaf is the one that started a cult following — Paul’s favorite and a Doughchi classic. Plump black and green olives swirl through a naturally leavened sourdough, melted together with Monterey Jack cheese for a soft, flavorful crumb and crisp golden crust. This one’s got a little extra love baked in. Our Oat & Honey Sourdough Loaf blends the tangy charm of wild yeast with the soft sweetness of local honey and the heartiness of organic oats.
